I found a solution to the not responding problem that some people face in win10. It is to disconnect the Internet and adjust the date to 2019 before running the game.
@Brad , it needs more than 170GB storage space to install the game, after installation the folder size is 143 GB.
I think u r out of space during installation.

Faster install if you have enough ram. I don’t know how much ram you need for it, though. Just run “Setup.exe” and it’ll automatically detect if you have enough.

I can finally play valhalla, first I installed microsoft visual c++ 2015 and the link shell extension. Then reinstall assassins creed valhalla. Turn off real time protection. And happy playing. It works for me

Im short on funds when ubisoft lunar sale came, and waiting for another sale to come to buy this game because i want to play Dawn of Ragnarok DLC, but suddenly they cracked it all.. Truly sorry Ubisoft, i love this site. I will purchase again probably for another Watch Dogs and Ghost Recon series.
